Notes

Note

According to Joseph Thompson's advert it's five minutes from Tubby Hook Depot, later Inwood Station, which was where the Marina is now. Actually it's about 15 minutes walk.
Don't confuse the Joseph Thompson/McCreery mansion with the Francis Augustus Thompson (1823-69)/Straus mansion, which this piece says they used till 1862: http://www.hudsonrivervalley.org/review/pdfs/hvrr_10pt2_munch.pdf
