Notes
Note
TGEA: Where the Roman road crosses the Dyfredwy, 2 km SW of Llanuwchllyn. Given as Rhyd Sarn in bond, Rhyd-y-sarn is my addition. I assume it's Rhyd-sarn (rather than the corresponding bridge, Pont Rhyd-sarn) a couple of miles upstream from Llanuwchllyn rather than Rhyd-y-sarn, 22 miles away at Blaenau Ffestiniog - check against Thomas Jones' records. The Roman practice camps called Rhyd Sarn I & II are just over the hill at SH85972781 and SH85772783.
