Narrative
The will https://docs.google.com/document/d/1YY7RtcgCsdDYqauOzlg2vfVTt3pAih3a2IWLhpDS4vI/edit presents three possibilities:
1) David Simon > John David > Simon Jones. However, David Simon's will says that Simon Jones is his grandson, and that John David (Simon?) is Simon Jones's father, but not that David Simon is John David's father, although the coincidence of first name and last name makes the latter possible
2) David Simon > (deceased daughter = John David) > Simon Jones. (Mary, apparently the only daughter, is married to X Thomas or Thomas Y.)
3) David Simon is an illegitimate son, but that would be most irregular.
