Narrative
HTA's tree gives Dakin as pencilled & putative ancestor of Simon or Mary, so this notion predates AMA's contact with PB.
Robert Thomas' autobio says that Simon and Mary and the three sisters were Methodists, and that Simon Jnr, a Congregationalist (Annibynwyr), was the only believer amongst the sons.
Loss of three children between August 1832 and May 1833. Poverty/epidemic?
