Macmillan. Leatherbound. This is the much expanded version of his 1874 A Short History of the English People. Populist, dramatic writing. Vols are 11.5×17.2 cm, index in vol. 8, a dozen simple maps in total.

Condition: Used – Good. Leather and gilt spine, half leather marbled boards, page edges also marbled. Spines slightly faded, some scuffing & wear to leather, stitching generally tight but a bit loose in several places, pages good with slight yellowing at end/beginning. ISBN: none. Box MC02
