I am told that La Vanguardia’s emblematic but problematic Londoner hasn’t contributed anything for a year. Characteristically, his most recent filing, from November 2011, is a reworking of a news story about the Redruth Close Hill estate curfew, which appeared briefly in the British press in 2008. Not much value for money when reporters start confusing the syn- and the diachronic.
