Zend for the waiter

In the hour before Holland woke up I rewrote booze base access using Zend Framework – Ajax and other Greek words are apparently about to go out of fashion, and I’d been wondering idly for a while about using Zend and Google Spreadsheets for a simple CRM system for the local barber’s. Stuff: I don’t quite understand what happens in installation. I fiddled unhappily around with php.ini and then .htaccess to try to get the path right, but, while the debugger still says there’s no fuel in the tanks, the machine clearly reads and writes OK. Since I’ve now got a reasonable command of PHP all kinds of wonderful things will happen … by the next time Holland does something in the Eurocopper, as it may become known.
