MSNBC has a good short piece from AP’s Mort Rosenblum on the water crisis that many people in this bit of the Mediterranean would like to ignore. Put very simply, we have no moral right to lecture the Bush administration on sustainability so long as we ourselves continue to elect politicians – and I’m including the local quasi-greens – who fritter away one of our most important natural resources.
