Shit I have in common with Jihadi John

Dear Tony, drummer known for reasons obvious in a glance as “Whippet”, did you ever escape from Hartshead Moor services on the M62, where we (intolerant drunken bastards) left you in the middle of the night and a cotton jacket and a snowstorm, all because we imagined you were an utter twat? We are so sorry, and will come to look for you soonish.

M62 motorway (1): The M62 is a 107-mile-long west–east trans-Pennine motorway in Northern England, connecting Liverpool and Hull via Manchester and Leeds; 7 miles of the route is shared with the M60 orbital motorway around Manchester.

  1. I never knew you could escape from Hull to Leeds via the M62. Hull is never mentioned on the signs when you’re driving east from Liverpool. Nor on the M60 but I could be wrong about the latter as I get off at Leeds. I should think Whippet’s succumbed to the cold by now. So, you can stop worrying.

PS. Been meaning to ask for a few years now- WTF does k’a mean?
