Memories are long?

I was wondering if, as in Switzerland (via), there isn’t in France a negative correlation between a propensity to vote to reduce immigration and the propensity of immigrants to take up residence in the voter’s district. But then I noticed that Castelsarrasin, a nice enough town almost on the Garonne, is one of Marine Le Pen’s top 77 targets, so maybe it’s still all about the Umayyads. (I’ve never seen any evidence that denominations like Castel Sarrasin, Castillo de los Moros, Castell dels Moros etc indicate anything more than a pile of rubble of great age and uncertain provenance.)
