The UK’s Sun Newspaper has reported that Newcastle striker Patrick Kluivert has had a spat with newly appointed coach Graeme Souness, before he has officially taken the post.
Souness, recently taking the Geordie post from Sir Bobby Robson, reportedly wanted the former Ajax and Barcelona star to play in a reserves match midweek.
Kluivert failed to turn up although he was told, his presence was required.
Kluivert’s the man with a homicide conviction, but it’s difficult to see how Souness will be able to resist smacking him one in the next couple of weeks.
