I’m still looking for a soprano, an alto and a tenor for the Barcelona choir I conduct. You need to have choral experience, be available Thursday night every week from 9-11 (attendance and punctuality are very important), and speak either Spanish or Catalan and understand both. Current age range is 25-35, but Mr Pujol would also be most welcome now he’s got slightly less to do. Repertoire ranges from mediaeval rubbish to modern rubbish; for example, we’re currently smartening up a version of Tom Lehrer’s Masochism Tango and a classic Machito mambo with a new Catalan text about pomegranate salesmen.
