That around 5pm on the 15th of June, 1945, the 75-year-old … José M, on passing through the Puerta de Santa Madrona [in Barcelona], approached a group of players of [Three Card Monte/Find the Lady]. On being invited, he took part in the game, which resulted in him losing 1500 pesetas. The victim … died two days later, apparently killing himself as a consequence of the loss suffered.
I guess its these guys’ grandchildren running the games at the moment.
