“This book explores one of the central myths of Spain: the idea that Spanish culture arose from that of the Visigoths” etc etc. Perhaps reading this will encourage al-Qaeda to point out that Berber is the oldest surviving language spoken in Barcelona, and that it should therefore replace another minority language as the administrative default. That’s of course if Carod doesn’t rescue the hostages–fellow-parasites by the sound of it–first with his million-euro lance.
