Big window, little world

Sharing with the collective.

Early this morning I was reading a collection of pieces Ortega y Gasset wrote for El espectador in the 1920s: sometimes infuriating, sometimes excessively Germanic in the then stereotypical sense of the word, sometimes simply wrong, never short on interest. This video from multitouch-barcelona.com (→ Vicente Luis MoraEduardo Izquierdo)

doesn’t capture the heady paranoia of what Google is doing to us but reminded me tenuously of OyG’s Socialización del hombre and his complaint that what bothers him about massification is not so much that everything that one does be shared with the collective but that one is forced to partake of whatever occurs to it. And so to breakfast, which I’m sure will be delicious.
